Media Centre of Khalsa College, Patiala organised a workshop on "Photography Essays and Story Telling" by  Dr. Jatinder Kamboj, a creative photographer.

Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha, Principal of the college, said that photography is the creative process through which we capture and retain various of our past. He emphasized such workshops add to the knowledge of students. It broadens their horizon by making them aware of various neglected but important aspects of photography like the impression and illusion they create through various angles.

Dr. Jatinder Kamboj while addressing the students, talked about the various aspects of the art of photography like photo essay, photo story, impact of body language and Angles of Photography. He gave presentation on topics like Photo Essay and Photo Story which include chronological series of stories. He tried to sort out various myths related with photography. He added that not every photo is a complete truth but can have half lies. So it is very important to analyse the whole picture before making any kind of judgement on it.

Dr. Pushpinder Kaur, Dean, Press and Publication presented a vote of thanks. During the workshop, members of media centre Dr. Jiwant Kaur, Prof. Navdeep Kaur, Dr. Sarabjit Singh, Dr. Bhagwant Singh, Prof. Tejinder Kaur, Prof. Rajinder Kaur, Prof. Puneet Kaur, Prof. Pritpal Singh and Prof. Jaspreet Singh Bajaj were present.
