The second edition of two poetry books 'Raat Da Registaan' and 'Akhar Bol Paye' written by Principal, Khalsa College, Patiala, Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha were released at Khalsa College, Patiala, on the eve of his birthday. The chief guest during the function was former Dean Students Welfare, Punjabi University, Patiala and famous personality in the world of Punjabi Literature, Dr. Satish Kumar Verma. Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha said in his speech that he started his literary journey in 1994 and the first book published was 'Raat Da Registaan'. In 2001 'Akhar Bol Paye' , in 2005 'Boond Ton Saagar' and in 2017 ' Tere Naal', poetry books were published. He also said that writing poetry is like living life for him and his creations have originated from the struggle of his life. Dr. Satish Kumar Verma congratulated Dr. Ubha and said that releasing of these books is a moment of celebration for Punjabi Literature. He shared his views that a poet is a very sensitive person and Dr. Ubha's poetry gives voice to pain and feelings.

The proceedings of the function were conducted by Head, Department of Music, Dr. Jagjit Singh. Deputy Principal Dr. Jasleen Kaur, Controller Examinations Dr. Ravinderjit Singh, Prof. Sukhmeen Kaur and other teachers from different departments were present during the function.
