<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="color:#222222"><span style="background-color:#ffffff"><span style="font-family:"Liberation Serif",serif"><span style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Youth Club and Red Cross Society of Khalsa College Patiala, in association with Vigilance Bureau Patiala Range, organised a Seminar on "Integrity – A Way of Life" to celebrate Vigilance Awareness Week against corruption from 28 Oct 2019- 2 Nov 2019 under the guidelines of Government of India. SSP, Vigilance Bureau, S. Jaspreet Singh Sidhu was present as the chief guest. SP, Crime, S. Mandeep Singh Hundal and Assistant Commissioner General Ismat Vijay Singh were present as special guests.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="color:#222222"><span style="background-color:#ffffff"><span style="font-family:"Liberation Serif",serif"><span style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"> S. Jaspreet Singh Sidhu addressed the audience and said in his speech that every person needs to maintain honesty at personal level before blaming others. Corruption is a big obstacle in the progress of a nation and it should be removed from the roots. He also said that there is a need to increase general awareness among students regarding these issues.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="color:#222222"><span style="background-color:#ffffff"><span style="font-family:"Liberation Serif",serif"><span style="font-size:14pt"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"> DSP Vigilance Patiala, S. Satnam Singh Virk made everyone take a pledge for always remaining honest in life and to obey the law and order, to work in favour of human welfare and for saying No to bribe. The coordinator of the seminar was S. Gursher Singh from Patiala Range Vigilance. During this session few videos were played to highlight corruption in different departments such as Traffic, Gas Agency, Police Stations etc. </span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
