About Department

The objective of biotechnology is to advance science and technology to better understand complex biological systems and their relationships with the environment and agriculture. Biotechnology program aims to impart a thorough knowledge of the principle and theories pertaining to the different areas of biotechnology. The program includes Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Genetic engineering, Immunology and Fermentation Technology Environment technology and Biochemical engineering.

The Department regularly organizes conferences, seminars, workshops, and industrial visits to instill academic excellence, personality development, systematic and disciplined work and scientific temper in students to face the challenges in the field of biotechnology. Students are regularly encouraged to update their practical skills with hands on experience in the state-of-art laboratories.
